Macca & Angie visit from WUDU
Macca & Angie visit from What's Up Down Under.
Visiting Tasmania…. Get back to nature!
It was so much fun having Macca and Angie visit from What’s up Down Under. They took pleasure in a guided tour around the wildlife park, meeting many of our native wildlife and then enjoyed lunch in the café. There is so much to do, and so many animals that you can meet up close. Handfeeding the kangaroos is always popular. Make sure you grab a bag of kangaroo food on your way through.
You should have seen Macca’s excitement when he got wet handfeeding the fish, and the meerkats melted Angie’s heart. Macca said at the devil feeding “This sounds like dinner time at the kitchen table when I was growing up! Those devils can sure growl, you definitely wouldn’t want to put your hand in amongst them while they are fighting over their lunch”.
We recommend you allow at least 2 hours for a visit as there are two areas to the wildlife park. And if you need a break, you might like to sit down and relax in the café.
Once your wildlife park entry has been paid it lasts the whole length of the day, so you have unlimited entry from 10am to 4pm when we close.
You can come for the day or you can come and stay!
Once you hop off the Spirit of Tasmania you can be at Wing’s Wildlife Park in approx. 40 minutes.
We have onsite accommodation units along with camping and powered sites. Toilet, shower and laundry facilities are also available. Where else in the world can you sleepover at a wildlife park!
If you are staying over, once you have purchased your entry ticket, it will last for the length of your stay…. each day you can enter the wildlife park as much as you like.
So make sure if you are visiting Tasmania and would like to get back to nature and meet some of the friendly locals like Macca & Angie did ……… put Wing’s Wildlife Park on your “must visit” list. You will be glad you did.
